A Japanese Manga written and illustrated by  Eiichiro Oda.It has been serialized since July19,1997.The story is about the Pirate empire on the world.Gol D.Roger the king of Pirate once has again started the age of pirates by introducing the greatest treasure 'Onepiece'.The manga follows the adventure of Monkey D. Luffy who ate devil fruit named 'Gomu Gomu no mi'.The devil fruit has the ability or properties of rubber i.e. it can stretch,bounce,potential energy etc.

With his crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as "One Piece" in order to become the next King of the Pirates.
